Why we started Pahar?
Pahar was founded by seven young people who were moved by the discrimination faced by girls in accessing education & decent employment in their villages.
Through a base-up approach involving community awareness, capacity-building and action, we aim to achieve long-term education & career related outcomes for girls from tribal & dalit communities.

To ensure better health, equitable and quality education and livelihood opportunities in the community and work in harmony with the community and government bodies while promoting constitutional values and making proper use of local resources.
